iCore enabling Parker Institute to conduct clinical trials in cancer immunotherapy
The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy(PICI) is an unprecedented collaboration between the country’s leading immunologists and cancer centers: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Stanford University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, San Francisco, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The goal is simple: to put the best minds together to find the net breakthrough cures for cancer by deploying state-of-the-art technologies in data management and analytics, creating a highly collaborative environment by creating an environment to easily share data and extracting maximum biological data on patients through the most powerful and high resolution molecular and imaging technologies available. PICI is creating the most innovative clinical trial system on close coordination with its partner institutions. The spirit behind the PICI initiative is that cancer research has far too long been hampered due to fragmented efforts and lack of effective communication, collaboration and data manipulation tools. We are living in the era of big and deep data but most of this remains silo-ed even within the same institution. iNDX Technologies has been working closely with PICI to create what we believe is a breakthrough clinical trial data management and analytical system that caters to the unique needs of highly complex and data rich fields such as cancer immunotherapies. This system is currently deployed across PICI and six partner institutions to run a Pancreatic cancer clinical trials. This system is scalable and deployable to any other institution outside of the PICI network.
